Benjamin Franklin is also the person I would most like to meet if I could whip up a time machine. My love for John Adams (who I adore the most) and George Washington (great man) notwithstanding, it would be Ben Franklin. He knew EVERYONE (he was even friends with John Paul Jones, the father of the American Navy! How did that happen?). He was brilliant! He was charming and funny, from all accounts. Yep, it would be Ben.
